Today would have marked my Dad’s 75th birthday. He died of Parkinson’s disease 3 years ago in December. This is a picture of our family’s last Christmas all together in 2003. I am grateful for him and for the gift from God he was to me in so many ways.
I am more grateful for my Eternal Daddy every day as I do not have my earthly Daddy anymore. Today I remember his laugh, silly jokes, the tender way he addressed me as “sweet,” his love for music, his love for video games, his trust in God, his love for my mom and my sisters and me, the way he touched many lives of people in his life.
Happy Birthday, Herbert Hale Cox, Jr.
A day worth remembering for sure. Thank you for the encouragement on my dad’s journey.
Thanks, Jana. I am remembering you in prayer.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Cox!
How amazing to know the love of someone in our life here that teaches us so much about the love of our Heavenly Father. It’s a precious gift that can be hard to live without…I’m amazed at how well and how much you’re learning to lean on Jesus in the midst of it. Thanks for sharing
A sweet message about a wonderful dad! I miss him too and will always be thankful that I have been so blessed to have him in my life.
He is greatly missed. Emphasis on greatly.
